Hemm żewġ sinjali għal SAN ĠWANN. L-ewwel sinjal għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal QADDIS. Dan isir b’id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ 1 mgħawweġ u jdur mar-ras biex jindika ruġġiera. (ii) Imbagħad, l-id tinbidel forma ta’ 5 bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. Tinżel ’l isfel lejn l-għonq u timxi ’l quddiem tmiss tul l-għonq bil-ponot tas-swaba’. Dan ifakkar li San Ġwann qatgħulu rasu.

It-tieni sinjal juża l-istess l-ewwel parti, jiġifieri s-sinjal għal QADDIS. Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għall-ittra Ġ u għall-ittra W.

There are two signs for SAN ĠWANN. The first part has two parts (i) The first part is the sign for SAINT. This is made with one hand that takes the shape of curved 1 and rotates around the head indicating a halo. (ii) Then the hand changes to the shape of 5 with palm facing downwards and continues downwards to the neck, moving forward touching along the neck. This reminds one of Saint John’s beheading.

The second sign uses the same first part, that is, the sign for SAINT. Then the signs for the letters Ġ and W are made.
